Taylor Swift is one of the biggest names in the music industry, having had an array of successful hits throughout her career. The 34-year-old 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker has released 10 original studio albums and four re-recorded albums so far, selling an estimated 114 million albums worldwide.

'Taylor Swift' is Taylor's debut album, and is a country album with pop elements. The songs reflect Taylor's perspective on life as a teenager - she was aged just 16 when it was released!


Release date: 24th October 2006 in the United States and Canada, 18th March 2008 internationally.

'Fearless'

'Fearless' is a country pop album. Taylor wrote seven of the album's 13 songs herself and made her debut as a record producer by co-producing all songs alongside Nathan Chapman.

'1989'

'1989' was inspired by 1980s synth-pop as Taylor moved into the pop genre. The album's title is also Taylor's birth year - she was born on 13th December 1989. '1989' is widely thought to be Taylor's best-reviewed album.

'Reputation'

'Reputation' was created whilst Taylor took some time away from the spotlight. The album was inspired by Game of Thrones, with Taylor telling Entertainment Weekly that she started binge-watching the HBO show in 2016.
