Love Island stars Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen tied the knot last weekend in a lavish ceremony in Essex, becoming the first Love Island couple to get married. Olivia, 24, and 27-year-old Alex got married in the luxurious Gosfield Hall in Olivia's hometown of Essex, sharing photos of the day in a magazine interview.
Sharing a snap of the photos on her Instagram, Olivia wrote, 'FINALLY! Our beautiful exclusive photos we chose for @ok_mag will be out in this weeks issue! Can’t wait for you all to see the dress, the suits, the flowers EVERYTHING! 20 pages of the best day of our lives to share with you 🤵🏽👰🏼❤️.' sic
The couple opened up about the ceremony, and Alex said, "I cried when I looked at her. I was actually crying before she got out of the car!"
Olivia, who has now taken Alex's surname to become Olivia Bowen, added, "When we saw each other we just burst into tears. I was really trying to hold it together and compose myself, because I didn’t want to fully lose it. The wedding was overwhelmingly perfect. It feels like it didn’t happen because it was so perfect."

Although Olivia was meant to have Love Island pal Cara de la Hoyde as her bridesmaid, the pair reportedly fell out and Gabby Allen stepped in, after being a runner-up on this year's series of Celebrity Big Brother.
In her column for new! magazine, Olivia explained, "Cara’s got baby Freddie now and when I asked her she was a lot less busy and I thought she could handle the pressure.
"But we spoke about it and she's so busy with Freddie and she’s got so much on her plate that I felt like it was pressuring her."
Alex and Olivia met on Love Island in 2016 and came second to Cara and her boyfriend Nathan Massey. They moved in together a month later in Essex and Alex proposed to her whilst on holiday in New York just five months later that December.
