Owen Warner breaks silence over romance with Love Island's Lana

As well as all of the drama between the couples on Love Island, the Islanders played a game of 'Never Have I Ever' in January which resulted in the group spilling some secrets.
Whilst Zara admitted she'd kissed Olympic hero Usain Bolt, Tanya Manhenga revealed she'd previously kissed British rapper Not3s, AND Lana Jenkins confessed her latest ex-boyfriend is a very popular actor in the UK.
Which actor did Lana from Love Island date?
Following the game, Lana's love interest Ron Hall was keen to know who the actor in question was, pulling Lana for a chat on the day beds.
Lana said: "So my ex-boyfriend, he's called Owen Warner, he just did the jungle."
In shock at her answer, Ron responded: "Are you serous, f--k off? That's your ex-boyfriend? F--king hell. He's a good looking lad ain't he? That's your ex? I well liked him on I'm A Celeb."
When Ron asked Lana how long the pair were together for, Lana said: "We had like a lockdown relationship."
Giggling, 25-year-old Ron added: "So basically I'm competing with someone who has just come runner-up on a massive show and is an actor.... And I work in finance."
What has Owen Warner said about Lana?
Now, weeks after Lana's confession, Hollyoaks actor Owen has broken his silence on the relationship, admitting he can't watch Lana on the show.
He said: “She’s a lovely girl and people will love her, but I’m not going to be watching. I feel like watching your ex move on to other people is a bit weird.
“I wish her luck… no doubt she’s going to smash it.”
According to reports, Lana and Owen were introduced via mutual friends, following Owen's split from former co-star Stephanie Davis.
The pair, who split after a number of months of dating in 2020, did post a cute snap together on social media, which has now since been deleted.
Reality TV fans will know that Owen appeared on the 2022 series of I'm A Celebrity, as the show returned to Australia.
Starring in the show alongside the likes of Jill Scott MBE, Boy George and Matt Hancock, the Hollyoaks heartthrob stole the hearts of the nation throughout his three weeks in the jungle, finishing the show in second place behind Jill.
