Following the postponement of the ceremony earlier this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, The BRIT Awards 2021 will take place in May, and now it's been confirmed that comedian Jack Whitehall will once again host the show!

This will be the fourth year in a row Jack has taken the reigns, with many calling him the 'best host in years' during the last ceremony back in February 2020.

Jack said of winning the gig again, "I must be doing something right to be invited back to host the BRITs! After the events of the past year, I think we can all do with a big night of music and entertainment, and I'm excited to be part of the show on 11th May.”

Jack took over hosting the BRIT Awards in 2018 after Emma Willis and The X Factor's Dermot O'Leary stepped in for 2017's ceremony following Michael Bublé being forced to pull out as his young son Noah was recovering from cancer.

Prior to that, Ant & Dec hosted the show in 2015 and 2016, and James Corden took on the job from 2011 to 2014.

Meanwhile, after Griff was crowned the winner of the 2021 Rising Star Award last week, the nominations for categories like Mastercard Album of the Year, Breakthrough and Group will all be unveiled on Wednesday 31st March.

The BRIT Awards 2019 will air live on ITV from London's O2 Arena on Tuesday 11th May 2021.
