A massive 11 months ago Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande caused a stir, when Dua posted a photo of the pair on Instagram, sparking rumours that they could be due to collaborate. However, since then, many singles and even albums have been released, but still no collaboration from the pair.

Now, in a recent interview, Dua Lipa has revealed that she and Ariana Grande DID do a collaboration, however she is unsure that it will be released due to various reasons. Speaking on US TV show Watch What Happens Live, Dua said that the timing wasn’t "quite right" for either of them, continuing, "I love Ari. I love everything she does."

However, all hope is not lost as Dua then revealed that they "might" do something again in the future.

During the show, Dua was also asked by a fan if she ever turned down a song that ended up becoming a massive hit. After a pause, the 'New Rules' singer said, "I probably shouldn’t say it," because she didn't want to take away from the success anyone might have had. However, she did go on to say that she thought 'Electricity' was a hit because of Diplo and Mark Ronson (Silk City).

Last month, Dua revealed that she was back in the studio with Tove Lo. The singer, known for collaborating with Alesso on 'Heroes (We Could Be)', and Nick Jonas, on 'Close', is also a songwriter who has written, or co-written a number of popular songs, including Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me like You Do' and Years & Years' 'Desire'.
